Brutes/Videos
The 'Brutes' videos were a set of videos developed by artist Rudra Chauhan to go alongside the two long-form compositions on Brutes, the 2022 album on Hush Hush Records that reflect the work's environmental themes. Using pixel-stretching technology and footage of fires, icebergs, landfills, and such, these works use sound and image to meditate on time, aesthetics, and humans' relationship to the natural world.
